Cleanout
With a straight clean out, we will visit the project and get an idea of the cost to clean out the entire estate. We take care of everything from clearing out garbage, recycling as much as possible, and donating what is left. It is important to us that the least amount of things end up in landfills. We leave the estate empty and ready for the realtor. Sometimes we’ll need a dumpster at client’s expense but this will expedite the work and reduce our cost to you.
Auction
This option is for items that are ready to sell. We come to your estate or business and photo all items and build it into an online auction. We handle prep, marketing, and coordinating pickups post auction. No one comes to your property unless they are scheduled to pickup their winning items and we load them out- this eliminates many of the risks posed with onsite sales. We payout based on contracted consignment fee and schedule. If items are not clean or organized we discuss a modest setup fee, which covers upfront costs to clean & test items while organizing the space.
Hybrid
With this option we do a clean out before and/or after an auction. This does two things- eliminates the debris and gets the most out of what can be sold. We split the profits (which typically will cover our costs for the clean out)
This is a perfect option for distressed and overwhelming estates that still have lots of value but a lot of clearing away to see all the goodies. When there is substantial upfront labor required but an auction would mitigate some expenses (even be profitable) this is generally our approach.
